We buy him cute little toys and he is more interested in a boring old box :)

sweet potatoes...

So as some of you know we have had a difficult time getting Aiden to eat any solid foods. Everytime we would go near him with a spoon he would clamp his mouth shut tight (amazingly tight). I guess he wanted to go from bottle to steak :)

But a few weeks ago we had success with carrots of all things. Then he decided sweet potatoes were ok - but no fruit!

So today we added turkey to the sweet potatoes - and he loved it! I guess he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy - just like his daddy :)

Aiden is 6 months old!

Aiden had his 6 month check-up today. He is growing like crazy! He now weights 18.4 pounds and he is 27.75 inches long.

South Carolina here we come!

So we are almost done with the insanely tedious task of packing our house. The truck and help are coming tomorrow to load us up and Thursday morning we are off! No worries, we will still be UT fans - the Gamecocks will not convert us :)

Vanessa will be back on Friday and will stay for a week. But as of next weekend we will all be in SC.

Also, a little birdie said that our wedding photos are ready and will be mailed to us in the next few days! Can't wait to share them :)

Aiden is 4 months old!

Aiden had a check-up today. He is doing fabulous! He now weights 15 pounds and 10 ounces and he is 25 and a half inches long.

So we are thinking that a blog would be a great way to keep everyone updated on our lives after the big move. In case you haven't heard we are moving to Charleston, SC within the month. We are excited. Brett is starting a new job at Trident Medical Center on July 14th. Aiden is excited too - he told us :)
